By Confirmation the fullness of the Spirit and the gifts of wisdom, understanding, right judgement, courage, knowledge, wonder and awe, are bestowed. By this outpouring, Christians are enabled to spread God’s love throughout the world bringing peace and joy to all through the Holy Spirit.

The Bishop normally administers the Sacrament each year in our parish.

Parishioners who have not yet been confirmed are invited to take part in the program,  please call Parish Office on (02) 9567 3589. Naturally, it is appropriate that confirmation be celebrated in the parish where the family attend Mass.

Children are usually prepared in Grade 6 for this sacrament.  Any child that is not attending St Thomas More Primary School, and attending the schools within our parish, worshiping at St Thomas More’s is welcome, indeed encouraged, to receive Confirmation with the parish group. All children intending to receive this sacrament in the parish group will be expected to follow the program of preparation.
